Attention All Students: Do you enjoy writing? Are you creative? Do you want a great opportunity to exercise your imagination? The Pelham Library is sponsoring “Pelham Reads Oz” during the month of November. Choose a character from Baum’s original text and use your imagination to explore that point of view! Have your character journey through the land of Oz or to another time and place! Consider what happened before the character journeys to Oz, tell the story of Oz from another perspective, or place the character in another setting! Entries may be in the form of flash fiction or a short story. Deadline for submissions is November 30th, 2017. See posted fliers in English classrooms for more information.
